Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education is launching MyBrain15 program to produce 100,000 (yes, one hundred thousands!) Ph.Ds before 2010.
My questions are:
1. Does Malaysia have enough multinational companies to recruit these 100,000 Ph.Ds?
2. If the answer for question (1) is "No", are European or American companies willing to hire our Ph.Ds?
3. If the answer for question (2) is "No", does Malaysia have enough local companies who are willing to hire 100,000 Ph.Ds and to pay them good salaries?
4. If the answer for question (3) is "No", so what is the point of producing 100,000 Ph.Ds?
